Becca did wonderfully last night and she is home today! WHEEEE!
To say I am overwhelmed with your thoughts and prayers is a gross understatement. It has been one helluva week and to know that you guys care what happens to me and mine just boggles my mind. You guys almost made me cry!! And I don't cry!
She was thrilled to see Daddy last night even though he was SEVERELY jet lagged. Her preschool teachers came and visited her yesterday and she practically had a party in her room she had so many visitors (7 family members and her two teachers).
I had, quite possibly, the worst birthday ever, but that's ok, because it was all worth it. She's not totally recovered yet, but she is well enough that we can continue her treatments at home.
I'm still relatively brain dead, but Becca and I did manage to get some uninterrupted sleep last night (no easy task in the hospital). She's sleeping comfortably now, and in a short while, you bet your ass I'll be joining her. I think we are going to hunker down this weekend and just enjoy being together as a family.
I have no doubt that having her in your thoughts and prayers helped her. I'm looking forward to life resembling something close to normal this weekend. I've got a lot of reading to catch up on, so I'm off to check out all the other blog news I missed.
I LOVE YOU GUYS!!
